Join us for a presentation by Max Parks about the future of human space exploration of Mars. In his talk, he will discuss some of the fundamental questions that need to be answered before we send people to the Red Planet.

1) Why do we want to go to Mars?
2) What do we need to know, before we go?
3) How are we going to get there? 

Max Parks is a lifelong student of space and science, As part of his work for NASA's Mars Exploration Program, he works to figure out where humans will someday land on Mars through the Human Landing Sites Study, and helps coordinate international Mars efforts through the International Mars Exploration Working Group. Max also studies the atmospheres of the outer solar system using the Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter array.
